About Dara’s Dream

I came to this work through lived experience, listening, and a growing awareness of what was missing. My path into facilitation began after moving through my own journeys without consistently feeling held in trauma informed, paced, or attuned ways. While those experiences were meaningful, they revealed how vulnerable people can be when adequate support is absent, especially during moments that are challenging or emotionally intense.

That realization became a calling. I felt a clear need for trained, steady, and compassionate presence during experiences that are not always gentle or predictable, spaces where difficulty is not rushed or left unattended, and where care and consent are as important as insight itself.

Alongside lived experience, I have pursued formal training and ongoing education. I am currently studying at the Center for Medicinal Mindfulness, completing training toward licensure under Colorado’s Natural Medicine Health Act. I am a certified psychedelic sitter with training in cannabis assisted support, integration practices, and safe touch principles, and I am currently studying toward certification in breathwork and meditation through Loka Yoga School. My work is informed by trauma aware care, harm reduction principles, and deep respect for agency, boundaries, and personal pacing.

I also serve as Director of Operations at Unlimited Sciences and contribute as a writer on topics related to psychedelics, integration, and safety. I am the president of a local community group serving marginalized identities, and my work is guided by a commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and ethical practice. I hold deep respect for Indigenous traditions and am intentional about not appropriating ceremonial practices that do not belong to me.

At the heart of Dream Portal is the belief that guidance is not meant to be permanent. My purpose is not to sit with someone indefinitely, but to offer support, tools, and ways of listening that people can eventually carry for themselves. Guided Experiences, Gentle Integration, and Creative Rituals are designed to work together, supporting both individual reflection and shared community, and helping people learn how to move between inner exploration and everyday life with trust, steadiness, and care.

The support I offer is relational and educational in nature. I am not a licensed therapist, medical provider, or mental health clinician, and my work does not replace psychotherapy, medical care, or crisis support.
